Engagement Events

What innovative steps can SRC take to revitalize volunteer engagement?

Background Information:

The cornerstone of strong, thriving communities, volunteerism enables and brings individuals together with shared values to address collective challenges and achieve common goals. Volunteers contribute to the well-being of communities by offering their time, skills, and resources. SRC understands and celebrates the integral and valuable role volunteers play in the wider humanitarian movement. To support this, SRC has put in place various frameworks aimed at nurturing the spirit of volunteerism.

Among these initiatives are:

  • Volunteer Engagement

  • Volunteer Empowerment

However, many organisations like the SRC, face problems in effectively nurturing a bolder spirit of volunteerism. Thus, SRC seeks innovators to explore and propose more creative and inclusive alternatives that seek to change the notion of the volunteer journey.

While our existing programmes are comprehensive, we actively seek out new initiatives and enhancements to further strengthen and improve our framework to ensure that the spirit of volunteerism is effectively nurtured.
